The Challenge

Devon Energy is a widely respected name in the oil and gas industry and its name carries some weight nationally. The were trying to do business off-shore and soon realize that they were the underdogs compared to other competitors in their space. The biggest challenge was to reign all of their various styles of design and messaging as they were very corporate driven.

The Solution

The solution the team came up with was to re-energize their messaging from the ground up and bring a cohesive language to their brand, BIG and BOLD. I played a small part in the process but my primary contribution what to standardize their iconography that really reflects them, a little rough around the edges but BOLD enough to make a statement.
